I was just wondering if a hide box is realy nessasery if I am useing the rubermaid slide box cage set up? and also I see other people use aspen and it looks like it is fine and light in color. but the aspen that I buy from pet-co is much more bigger shavings with allot of dark wood in it. I have allways used pine shavings and have not had any problems, but I do want to do what is best for my snakes health! any help would be great !! thanks.
