First time feeding with new ball........

DinoTheBall Nov 02, 2003 05:37 PM

I just got my ball Nov 1st and I'm not gonna feed it for atleast 5 days, I don't want to stress it out or anything. The breeder I bought it from told me its feeding on live mice...when I was there one of his baby females ate a live mouse lickity split, but as I've read live mice can inflict injuries on the snake. Should I start off feeding mine live and then introducing prekilled/frozen? Because I'd rather have it feeding on dead mice. Anyways, thanks for your replies!

Try prekilled. If it does not take it, you can freeze it for later. Feed at night and in a quiet area with little light.
