hi i am new to anole keeping and i was wondering how large is there maximum size i couldn't seem to find it any where

Which anole species are you talking about? The largest anole species can grow up to 24 in.

The most common species sold in the pet trade in the US is the common green anole (anolis carolinensis). They max out at 7-8 inches, tail and all. A single lizard needs a bare minimum of 10 gallon tank - the larger the better.

Mealworms are fine, as long as you don't excessively provide them as food sources, since they're high of chitin. The green anole's major food should be crickets. I think you'll want to do some more research about them, so therefore, I'll provide you with great links:
