Pics of my new Suri...

Simbo May 30, 2003 07:36 AM

Here is my new BCC. There was a mix-up with the shipping (see Airborne Express thread below), but he seems to be doing fine now. This guy is smokin in real life, something that these pictures do not even come close to capturing. The red in his tail and his pink sides are not even visible. I am using a 3.1 mega-pixel camera, but I really can't seem to get a good shot. I think I need to tweak the lighting a little better or just wait for the weather to get sunny and take some outside shots. If anyone (CE) has any picture taking advise for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Have a good day,
Eric

Here is his pre-shed picture (taken when he arrived on Tues.):

Here he is fresh out of his old skin:

A tail shot:

Your pics are ok, but to capture the colours you need natural light. Not even necessarily direct sunlight, but outside on a bright cloudy day works great too. Also tripods are a great tool, but you can set your camera on a 3 second delay and put it on or against something for a sharp shot. I always take many shots and usually end up with one or two that I like.
Cheers

I would take him outside if you want to capture his true colors... Good luck with him!
