I think my Kingsnake is sick-

Cassandra-quin May 30, 2003 07:40 AM

Hello- I have a 4 yr old Cal King...and she recently came back to me after brumating/breeding/and egg laying in a 7 month period. She was fine for the first week-but then recently she began defecating a lot, spit up her food, won't eat, and looks thin compared to my other kings that went for the same process. She seems to also have mucus at some points coming out of her mouth...and it's really troubling me. Anyone have any ideas on what her ailment might be or how to treat it? It would, of course- be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance~

It really sounds like you're going to need a vet to treat that. I'd start with a fecal sample.
Sounds like she caught something nasty from the other snakes she was with.

It does sounds like a serious parasitic infection, get to a vet asap.
