"Papers" to validate morph linneage.

I have an axanthic ball python that bred this year and produced het babies. I did not purchase him from a breeder, and the gene is not proven (yet). Does anyone know how such "papers"are obtained? Do I need to wait until the line is proven?
Thanks,
PerryM

There is no organization that issues such papers. You issue your own to the people who buy your animals. You could wait til the line is proven. Or you could show pictures of the parents to the prospective buyer and tell him that the axanthic is of unknown ancestry (wild caught or whatever) and that you have not yet proven that the condition is genetic.

Thanks for the insight...
I have been asked to present"papers"on several occasions during the course of finding potential buyers for the offspring. I had no idea what these people were talking about(I'm not really into the morph thing)
So you're telling me anyone can make claims about an animals bloodline, and It will be believed as long as they put it in print?
yikes!

Anyone can make any claims they want about an animal's bloodline. They are more likely to be believed if they have been in the hobby for a few years and have a track record of honesty in advertising. Putting things in writing helps someone sue you if you misrepresent.
