Hi
Is your geckos stool solid or more like a splat and not formed?. Geckos stools will be kind of oval in shape and there will be a dark oval shape and a white one at the same time along with urine.
Your warm side of which is also called the basking end of the tank should be at 88 degrees and your cool end should have any heat put on it, that is assuming that it isn't really cold in your house. That way it can thermoregulate it's on body temperature, (just in case - thermoregulate means that if your gecko gets to warm in the basking end of the tank it can go to the cool end to bring it's body temperture done and if it gets to cold it can go to the basking end of the tank).
You should put a hide for your gecko at both ends of the tank.
