Getting concerned about Beanie

Linda G May 30, 2003 08:32 AM

Hi,

The last 3 days Beanie has eaten almost nothing. She is
acting normal and going potty normally although not much
stool because of the fact that she is not eating. She usually
eats a whole plate of food a day.

There are two changes. For the first time since I adopted
her 8 months ago she is not actively shedding and the temps
outside have been in the low 70's causing her enclosure to
be warmer than usual. Top basking ledge is about 94 degrees
ambient. I am making some adjustments. Could either of
these changes cause her to stop eating? I do have an appt
scheduled for her on Monday for just a check-up and bloodwork
to see how we are doing due to the fact she has old MBD.

Anyone else experience this on occasion?

Thanks
Linda & Beanie

Hi Linda, maybe it is the weather.. But I´m not sure though. Well, let´s see what the vet will see. Let us know if she´s ok!!
Good luck,
Dan
