I've had a few questions answered on this forum, and I've answered 10x that many (easily). But I think what has been overlooked as a valuable source of information is that which is most common on this forum. Pictures! Boa taxonomy is perhaps the most underresearched and indefinite part of this hobby and I think by all of us posting pictures of our animals, it provides a knowledge base of various sub-species that none of us could have found on our own. Personally, if it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't be able to distinguish a bcc from a bci from a bca, much less a Peruvian from a Suriname. Especially having only about 2 years in the hobby!
So, to those that would like to say that this forum is nothing but a picture posting frenzy full of oooh's and aaaah's and nothing more, I respectfully disagree and ask you to spend a little time looking a little closer. You may even try participating, you'd be surprised what you'd learn when you're part of the "clique" (and yes, it is spelled "clique", "click"-ing is what you're doing to your mouse on this forum for endless hours each day
hehe). Have a great day, I'm off to start my morning. And by the way, I fully expect to receive a nice education from this forum when I get home tonight! So post a TON of pics
