Male 2003 NJ Eastern Kingsnake

Awsome snake Keith, I love them too, wish I could find some. Not alot of breeders out there dealing with them. Jeff Robbe
Yeah I like extremes either super fat or real thin. Thin's are underrated in my book. Im working on a project with super clean very thin banded Easterns. This male posted below represents half of that project and I have a female that has real thin super white crossbars as well thats unrelated. They are both 02's so not this year but next I should have some really nice clean thin banded Easterns that stay clean into adulthood unlike alot of Easterns which muddy up.

this male is from Will Still. These animals are simply stunning !

I hope he goes next spring. I have two of his very orange, wide banded sisters ready to make outrageous youngins with him in '04.
For those of you that don't Frank the Tank, he is a pure eastern kingsnake hatched in 2000 and descended from animals collected by Kevin Enge in Statenville GA and Tifton GA. He is from an (obviously) extremely variable lineage of easterns. Thanks for looking.

Here is a another pic of Frank from last summer. Oh, in my last post it should have read "for those of you who don't know Frank the Tank". Oops.

Dude Ive said it before but thats a SMOKIN' snake !!!! Is he that white now or is it from the flash ? Whats he up to now ? The 2003 wide banded male I got from you put on 3" in a little over 3 weeks ! He was something like 18" now I measured him at 21" or so.He is also eating small fuzzies as well.
Keith
Will, is he the one who tries to eat the snake following him and bites his own tail all the time?
I remember someone posting something about that a while back...
He's a beaut by the way

Wow, excellent memory. Yes that was Frank the Tank who constantly chased the other snake (himself) around his cage and tried eating it's tail repeatedly. That is until he would bite down so hard, on his own tail that he would break the skin, jump and release from pain. He would then sit there looking stupid and puzzled for a while until I would whack a rat and feed him just because I felt sorry for the silly A$$. He's my boy though. He has the most personality of any of my snakes. I named him Frank the Tank after Will Farrell's character in "Old School" - the movie for the guys of my generation. Like Frank in the movie, Frank the snake seems to overdo everything to the point of excess. The name just sort of fit his compulsive, dopey character.

Hi Keith,
What do you mean when you say that some Easterns muddy up as
they grow into adulthood? Can you provide a picture or a link?
Your NJ Easterns look great. I am a big fan of thin crossbars
too!
Thanks,
Garnet
