but he took it down a few months ago. He said he'd have another one up but I don't think he does yet.

Hi Dennis,

CP decided to get into snakes and phase out of chameleons. He offered almost all of his stock animals at the Maryland show 2(?) months ago. From what I hear, he only has a few chams left - and those he is keeping for a reason.

We sold him 17 panthers last year - and I hear they are all gone as well. Dang, we may never know where they ended up.

When we learned he was selling, we wanted some of his stock animals, but he refused to offer them to us before the show - in order to get more money, I suppose.

Snakes are less demanding and more predictable to keep, I hear..... *shrug*

thanka forthe info. i'd like to get some snakes too, but "if it doesn't have legs it isn't coming near this house!" says my wife. i even had something set up with my buddy and his wife and my wife said "NO they will end up at my house sooner or later". she'll look at them at the shows in the delicups but that is as close to getting one(or 6 lol) as i will get.

chameleons aren't that time consuming or demanding. i guess you can get 2 tanks in the same spot as 1 cage for a chameleon.

Snakes are so much less demanding that I almost forget I have them! After caring for chams for years I find my snakes are almost boringly easy. I only have a couple of the more "normal" snake species but sometimes have one of those anxiety dreams about forgetting to check on them for weeks. They are also nocturnal so don't capture my attention when the other critters are active.
