Water Sitting

Jester313 Nov 03, 2003 01:07 PM

How long do Horned Frogs (Pac Man Frogs) typically sit in their water bowl? Mine has been in his all morning. Is this natural, or is there something the matter with him?

I know they drink through absorbtion, but does it take a long time? Just wondering.

It isnt uncommon for the frog to remain buried, soak for a few days, and then return to being buried in the soil. Andy

I would have to agree and say don't worry about it. Horned frogs will soak when they need to and they tend to soak longer right before a good shed.
