Can they be housed in pairs?

eppon Nov 03, 2003 03:38 PM

I'm reading up on uromastyx (leaning towards ornate) and am wondering if it's possible to have pairs live together. I don't plan on breeding, so either a male/female or female/female pair is fine.

There are always exceptions to every rule, but in general, uros do well together. Right now I have 3 female and 1 male Mali Uros all sharing the same tank, and there aren't any problems thus far.
