My Female Suriname...

MonkeyLove Nov 03, 2003 03:46 PM

I wanted to take a pic of my male too, but I didn't have time. She's more beautiful that him anyway.....

She weighs 850 grams and is about 4.5 feet long. I was wondering if anyone could give me an age estimate. Thanks.

estimate an age w/o background info. *If* She were captive bred and raised, and being fed 1 meal every 1-2 weeks I'd say shes a good 2-3 years old. If kept poorly...could be 5years or so. Looks to me like she has a retained eyecap on her right side if you're looking nose to nose at her. May want to check that out.

I forgot to mention that she's wild caught...that's why I'm wondering about the age.

Also...no retained eye cap. I was holding her last night and she looked fine.
