From what I heard you should just let them sit at room temperature till it thaws. I thaw them in hot water though. If you do do it in hot water make sure its in a water proof bag so it doesn't get soggy.

I thaw them at room temp and then place on a heating pad for about an hour and then put in the snakes cage.

I let the bag w/ mouse in it sit in warm water for about an hour. Then I sit it on the light fixture for about 10-15 minutes - gets the mouse about 104 degrees (if I remember correctly) which is what it takes for my little one to strike at it.

One time I decided to try something different and only wanted to thaw and warm up a couple pinkies. So I put them in a plastic snak bag and placed them under a lamp close to the bulb. Then I forgot about them. When I remembered them they were steaming and thoroughly cooked. Good grief. Had to start all over. Usually I put in bag and into hot water until they feel warm when lightly squeezed.

I just fed my baby 15 inch ball for the first time....wow!! that was exciting!! I was so nervous readin all that stuff about them going on feeding breaks for months, but I put my ball in a box and wiggled the mouse by him with ice cube tongs and my hand was shakin because I was nervous and excited at the same time and wham! he struck it so fast and started constricting. I know for all the experts on this site thats just a routine thing but for my first time what a thrill! I fed him an adult mouse and thought it might be too big but he gobbled it right up. I got a sweet pic of it feeding i'll post it soon
