Correctly establishing wild caught frogs?

anyone05 Nov 03, 2003 06:47 PM

Hello,

I am interested in purchasing several solomon island eyelash frogs and cant find any captive bred babies ( I have only seen them twice), so i would like to buy several wild caught adults but i am unsure on how to correctly go about getting them dewormed and checked for parasites can anyone tell me an overall procedure used for establishing wild caught animals?

thank you for your time and responses

Jorge

IF you purchase these frogs, you may want to have a qualified vet do a physical exam & fecal analysis as preventative measures for disease & parasites. Prior to purchasing, make sure that you have a vivarium or similar housing set-up properly for this particular species.
