I know that most people say that you shouldn't use any heating devices on the cooler side.
However I talked to a vet today (I was having trouble getting her to eat) and he said that the temps on the cooler side need to be at least 75 degrees preferably closer to 80 or they won't go over there. He said that if the choice is between too hot and too cold they will choose too hot (therefore not thermoregulating themselves)
So since my house is usually not that warm, is it permissible to use a heat lamp on the cooler side provided I only let it get between 75 and 80.
Also, told ya never out of question, the probes for the thermometer and the probe for the thermostat are lying on the bottom of the cage is this right?
Thank you in advance!
