I'm new to snake keeping and have 2 corns and a milk. I was thinking of getting a boa or python. Which would be better? And not to big...6-7 foot.

Ball pythons are good starters. Very hardy. Carpet pythons are good too.
Not that I have much experience... I only have 1 snake... but I was recommended Spotted Pythons when I was looking and I have to say that so far my Spotted has been great. Always eats well... very friendly. I definitely would recommend them.

My childrens pythons are amazing. I had two 5 and 7 years olds over for the summer and they run up and down my yard all day the the pythons around their arms, crawling up their legs, etc. My two do not bite...ever, but boy do they feed well. I also absolutely love my blood pythons, my female Red Sumatran is as calm and friendly as my childrens. My black bloods are going that route as well.
