I'm sick!!!!

npohworks Nov 03, 2003 08:22 PM

Or, ok, my boyfriend is sick too. Went to the tampa show swearing we weren't getting anything but supplies and D'OH our numbers swell once again. We're at 14 total now. Sick sick sick. So we got our first crested gecko (we're so hooked on them!) and then we found a Mali at the show that was actually in really good shape. She is HUGE for a female, all her toes, big healthy tail, de-parasited, alert, and she was $35. Yeah, so, we couldn't say no. So far the other Malis seem to really like her. They made a big hog pile (uro pile?) under the basking spot today, and one of the other females hitched a ride on her back to the food dish.

Oh dear, we are sick indeed.

Also, i wanted to thank everybody for their input into the software I'm trying to make to help people find the right reptile for them. I have changed the list to include what I consider to be the most popular (and appropriate) pets that appear most commonly at shows: uros, geckos, monitors, beardies, chameleons. I started on the graphics and basic layout today. Gotta get cracking, I have to have a working version 1.0 in 2 weeks! The first version will probably be minimal but I want the final to be really extensive, and I have every intention of making it as complete as possible so that maybe someday it can get out there and do some good (no more buckets of niles at shows!!). Yes so thanks again everybody! This is the best kingsnake board!

What language is the software being written in? And do you have a site up for it?
Thanks.

I'm writing the software using Macromedia Authorware as part of a project for my Interactive Multimedia course.
