Need Texas Blind Snake Info, Please

Lynn E Nov 03, 2003 09:00 PM

Hi,
Hi, I'm not a newbie or a youngling, but I am new to blindsnakes. Is there any info available on feeding and keeping a 3" snake? Temps, subtrate, lighting reqirements, etc?

I have heard they eat mostly ants and termites and their larvae. I would expect something like aspen would work for substrate, and in regards to temperature, I would just match the area the snake came from. But from what I have heard, they are not easy to keep. Maybe someone else on here has some more info for you. Andy
