She won't stop digging!

Tolc101 May 30, 2003 11:02 AM

I have a male and a female in one tank. I've had this humid hide in there for a few months and they love it. The problem is, in the past 2 weeks my female keeps digging out ALL of the peat moss in side and kicking it Everywhere. At first I thought she was getting ready to lay eggs, but it's been 2 weeks! and every time i clean the tank and put new moss in, she justs kicks it right out. what do I do, shout I keep the humid hide out for a while or just keep cleaning up her mess????

I had the same problem with some of my geckos. What I did was, I made a new hide box and put the opening on the top in the middle so when she kicks the moss around there is less of a chance it will get out of the hide box.

Hope this helps!

Thanks
