Same Snake Different colours??? what gives?

Not only am I lucky enough to have full grown diamond pythons hanging around my yard but my new neighbour also has a pet snake. Funny thing is they are both Diamond Pythons but they are completely different colours and patern.

My python started black and is getting yellow markings which will make it look green when it gets big (see first three pics). My friends python is brown like the pic of the full grown one hanging around out house.

Are they the same snake?

If you say they are both diamond then they must be, or hybridized. But snakes are way different dude, some red bloods are RED and some are murky brown. I wouldnt make my basis on outside looks alone.
