Incubation Temps-Relation to sex...

npohworks Nov 04, 2003 09:14 AM

I have a question. I was told that you can incubate "for a certain sex" (the lower temps producing females, the higher producing males).

So here we go, how accurate is this? Is it right 90% of the time? 30% of the time? None of my other species can have this done with any degree of certainty.

Please let me know, thanks!!!

Incubation temp sex determination doesnt work for rhacs. Not as far as I know anyways. Im pretty sure a few of the larger breeders have done some testing and determined it doesnt work.
