Help! Garter vomiting blood?

WebDragon8 Nov 04, 2003 11:48 AM

This morning I fed my garter a goldfish after it woke up. About half an hour later I found the fish regurgitated and coated with blood, which I can only assume is from the snake and not from the fish. Aside from not feeding her again for a good long while, is there anything that I can do for her?

Thanks in advance!

Reguring can indicate there is something quite wrong with the snake internally, or it could be as simple as something such as temperatures. I would get the snake into a sterile, warm container and get it to a vet ASAP either way. Best to get it checked out. Andy

Thanks for your advice, seems that it was a false alarm, she's been doing fine since although I haven't fed her, and probably won't for a few more days. Thanks again!
