healthy weight?

khalliaar Nov 04, 2003 12:22 PM

I was wondering what is a healthy weight for a 4-5 month old female leopard gecko? I have one and she weighs about 30 grams. I was just wondering because to me she looks nice and chubby, but not too fat. Thanks.

depends on her length. I personally think you should feed growing geckos as much as they want to eat of appropriately-sized, gutloaded prey items. As long as you are doing that, temps etc. are correct, and she's not sick there should be no problems. You never have to worry about growing geckos getting too fat, they will just convert the food into growth.
