HELP: seizure (shaking) Veiled chameleon?

randi Nov 04, 2003 02:38 PM

help! My veiled chameleon is shaking as if he is having a seizure. It has gone on for about 40mins now, and he can't open his back feet any more (his front are ok). He's looking around and trying to move to higher places, but even klutzier than normal. He keeps squinting his eyes, and it looks like they're pulled a bit into his head.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Call your vet! It sounds like either a spine problem or a neurological one. The only one that can help now is a vet.

Keep us posted...

think about what you have been feeding him for my a wild slug that he found while basking killed him.
