How to stairalize large branchs?

poisonfrog420 Nov 04, 2003 04:04 PM

I have 4 large (4'-5') branchs that I got out of my back yard. They have all been setting out there for at least 6 mo. if not longer. I want to put them in my new frilled cages I just built, but want to sanitize them first. What is the best and safest way to do that? I thought of just misting them down with bleach and then scrubbing them down, has any one done that before? Thanks a lot, Jake.

soak them in the bathtub(or any large enough container you have on hand) in a bleach/water solution overnight, then soak in plain water for another night. let air dry in the sun or heated room.
