I've been considering getting a couple cresties and at the last show I went to I noticed mostly younger ones available (probably 3" max with tail).

1. do you need to do anything special for feeding them that young like hand feed or will they find the food?

2. should they be kept in a smaller enclosure until they get bigger to help them find the food easier? (I am planning a 20G high aquarium for long term)
