Thought I'd post a pic or two of my new female, calico taeniura to show what this baby looks like...

Ratsnake Haven: Elaphe schrencki, dione, bimaculata, t. taeniura, mandarina, conspicillata, situla, guttata meahllmorum and g. intermontana; and Lampropeltis zonata and calligaster.

Looks like that turned out very nice Terry! Hopefully we will see some more morphs this coming year. I still think the beauties are an underappreciated species. Drop me a line when you get a minute.

Glenn, I agree that taeniura is an awesome species. So many cool subspecies to chose from and now we're starting to get some morphs, like the albinos and calicos. The only thing that I see as a problem are the very large sizes of some ssps. Most people like large snakes though. I really enjoyed caring for the female that layed this summer. It was a neat experience. More later....Terry.
