Silkworms can be kept around room temperature, providing it's not below 70F (ideal temp ranges between 75F-85F but they are fine at slightly cooler, just don't grow as fast). I keep my silkworms on a coffee cup holder inside a Sterlite container with no lid. (a lid with holes drilled into them if you have other animals that may get into them without a lid). I feed the silkworm chow to the worms once a day, adjusting the amount according to how fast they eat it and if there is any left by the end of the day.
An adult bearded dragon can eat full grown silkworms fine but I would recommend getting the medium size (1" worms) as they can grow twice as long within two weeks. The larger size is no problem with adult dragons as the soft bodies just fold easily in a bearded dragon's mouth so no risk of impaction.
My dragon eats between 3-6 large silkworms a day but she's not quite adult aged (only 9 months old). However she has refused to eat more than 3 or 4 silkworms a day lately, though she eats her greens no problem. I just think she is starting to lose interest in insects as she gets closer to adulthood.
I buy my silkworms from www.silkworms.ca which won't be good for you if you live in the states. The best place in the States would be www.mulberryfarms.com or other feeder suppliers (lllreptiles carries them I think)
