found room in my room for this size. Is it ok

I have room for a 48 inch long by 18 inch wide and the height is gonna be 24. Would this setup be ok for 2 adult yellow ackies?

That sounds like a good size. Are you planning on getting a pair of adults or two adults from different sources? If you decide to get them from different sources, you should keep in mind that there's a good possibility they won't get along.

i plan on getting a pair of babies.. Also, what if i buy a pair and they turn out to be both males?

then either enjoy them as males,trade one for a female or buy one female for each male.
