Chinese twin-spotted ratsnake vs. South Korean dione (pics)...>

Terry Cox May 30, 2003 12:36 PM

Just got these recent pics and in light of recent posts decided to do a little photo comparison

This is a fairly normal looking twin-spot (blonde phase x brown phase).

A normal looking South Korean dione baby.

A normal colored S. K. baby.

A light colored S. K. baby.

This is the 2002 female that I kept for my breeding project.

I can see where the confusion comes from - those do look a lot alike.

Thanks for posting the comparisons.

The rest are baby South Korean Dione's Ratsnakes. I'm actually comparing several S. K. babies in the last four pics, but my poor photography, plus the dulling process of scanning and uploading makes the pics dark looking, and it's hard to see the differences

My bimacs are a combination of yours and Sacha's bloodlines. My S. Koreans (more my wife's) diones came from your F1 clutch and I hope to be breeding the one F1 male to a female from your 02' clutch. My F1 female has turned out lighter than the two males I have. The one male is dark with a some traces of orange ground color. He's really pretty. Thanks for posting the pics to show a comparison between the bimacs and the diones.
