My vet has given me panacur paste with the instructions to give "2 syringe graduations per kg bodyweight". I was never very good at math and I am totally lost as to how much I should give my 48g leo.

Did your vet know how small of an animal they were dsipensing to?
By your vets standards, that would work out to 0.096 graduations
(whatever that is) for your leopard gecko. That is crap info on the part of your vet. I hope they didn't charge you for that tidbit of info. Find out how many mg/kg of paste you vet wishes to administer to your sick Leopard gecko and I can help you from there. Maybe I can track some dosing info down for you but I do not want to be responsible for what you administer to your Leo. I can see but I would really only want to help you do the math after your vet tells you how many Mg per Kg to give.
Just let me know and I'll be happy to help.

I know your post is a few weeks old but it rarely hurts to redose Panacur since it has a WIDE margin of safety. Your vet implied 2 small lines worth of panacur in the syringe he gave you. This should be clear enough. If you give a little more there should be no harm! Scott J. Michaels DVM
