Hi, i guess i agree.........not sure though. I have 2 blizzards, one is a very bright white while the other is somewhat dullish grey. I don't mind either of them, although i do like white ones. Nala, the whiter one, is a downright misrable gecko, bit me the other nite drawing blood, while Bronx, the duller one, is a sweetheart.
I used to be so fixated on colouration/morph but now i'm all for personality. My personal opinion is that no matter what the morph, i'd rather have a *nice* gecko than a misrable one. Granted i'm not going to get rid of Nala, she'll just take alot more time and work, until i can get her calmed down, if at all. She adds to the diversity of my group and thats fine with me.
Please don't yell at me for this, its my opnion and mine alone.......I do believe that maintaining a genetic diverse population is healthier than inbreeding so much for one trait that the result is deformaties. I'm not trying to say that the breeders out there care more about the money they get for high end geckos, new morphs etc. then they do their animals, not at all!!!!!!!!! Just that if Nala and Bronx eventually breed and all the babies are dull blizzards, i'll be just as happy to have them as if they were bright white.
Just my thoughts.
