Well I have gotten rid of most of my lizards now. I sold off all the cricket eaters and regular chuckwallas. It has just gotten to be too much. Brian was smart when he got rid of his. Last April I ruptured a disc in my neck at work and it was hell cleaning cages-moving rocks and such. After much thought I decided to sell everything except the island chucks. Now all I have are 8 varius and 6 hispidus. The cages are large and do not require me to move rocks just clean them off. It is working out nice and although I do miss the animals it is so much easier without all of them. I was up to 8 trios of chuckwallas, 15 collared lizards, 8 baja blue rock lizards and a pair of Morroccan uros. The baja blue rocks were sent back to the guy that bred them and to the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. I know that that breeder will breed them successfully as he has done the last few years so they will become more available for everyone. He is trying to build a good captive population. Also my boys(human) are getting older now and requiring more of my time and the animals were paying the price. Tom
