Hey all,
got a quick question for all of you dendrobates breeders...
Have any of you noticed that the males of that provide parental care eat less while in 'breeding mode'? When they are calling, when they are caring for their young, etc.?
thanks for the help,

Yes, I do notice that the males will eat less and not come to the food area right away. It will come later and pick some here and there. Once the eggs are taken out, they go back to same feeding pattern until he starts calling again. I will slow down the breeding after awhile by not misting for days. It gives the males and females a break and fatten/condition themselves.
