****WARNING LONG POST, HOPE YOU DON'T MIND READING A LITTLE HISTORY ON ME AND MY SNAKE ADDICTION****
I've been waiting for this moment for 8+ YEARS... Just a little history, so you can understand WHY I am just so excited!
My snake addiction started when I was 10 years old.. We used to spend summer days hunting garter snakes, and when I couldn't find any, I would buy some from local pet-shops.
In my teens I was amazed when I saw my first albino corn snake. The corn snake collection quickly went from 6 corns to 25 corns, all beautiful healthy animals (big thanks to Kathy Love) wonderful person. I was 3-years into my corn snake project with some already very large snakes. Due to health problems & space at the time I just could no-longer take care for the animals and sold the whole group. It was a very hard/upsetting thing to do, but really was my only option.
I kept no snakes for about 2 years, during that time I was able to convince my parents into letting my have a spare bedroom as a snake-room (prior to that I was sharing my bedroom with 25-corn snakes.
Working part-time, I spent all my $ on 6 beautiful burmese pythons from Bob Clark. 0.1 Albino, 1.1 Albino Labyrinths, 1.1 Albino HET Granite, 0.1 Granite. The oldest and first snakes purchased was the normal albino female and albino lab male.
Before I knew it, 3 years passed, my oldest albino female was aprox 9 feet, 85lbs, and was pounding 6lb rabbits. Well she started having symptons of an RI infection, The wheezing, the spitting of mucus onto the glass in her enclosure, I raised temps, I raised humidity the symptoms would come and go. She eventually bred ONE time with my male albino labyrinth, nothing ever came of the breeding.
One night I came into the snake room, finding her frantic in her cage, I started to panic as well, I jumped onto kingsnake, frantically started posting messages for help. Not knowing what to do I went back into the snake room, I took her from her cage and then things got VERY BAD. Her rear half of her body went LIMP with no control, she just fell out of the cage I had to quickly sit down holding her because of her size and weight.
Moments later she died, right in my arms.. I was completly devastated.. So devastated that I swore off burmese pythons for life. I then read an article written by Dave Barker about Burmese and there constant battles with RI infections, that seem to plague adults and snakes that were 3 years + of age.
I gave away the remaining 5 snakes for FREE, big beautiful healthy snakes, I just did not have it in me anymore after what happened.
But ya know how this snake addiction goes, 6-months later I purchased a small group of HET albino ball pythons from Bob Clark. My ball python collection has grown to now 50 total snakes, there a ton of work, esp when you include the care for my breeding rat colony...
I deserve my very own baby snakes!! I hope you enjoy these pictures, and thanx for reading such a long message. You can see why I am so excited about catching these 2-snakes together.
The following photos are dedicated to my big beautiful female albino burmese, she died April 19th 2001.

Here she was hooked up with my male albino labyrinth, about 1 month later she died. I am 100% sure the cause of death was affixation.

Enough of that depressing story, give me baby ball pythons!!!!!!
