IS MY 20 GALLON LONG TANK GOOD ENOUGH???

bmills May 30, 2003 01:00 PM

I have a 20 gallon long tank that currently has 2 leos in it, I will be adding a third leo in a couple months. I currently have a dry hide, a humid hide, a calcium dish, a water dish, a mealie dish, a toilet paper roll (they love to play in and on it), a net going straight up on the back wall (they just climb up and down), a net that goes from the ground in the front left corner of the tank and goes across the corner so they can climp on it too.

IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHEN I ADD MY 3RD LEO IN A COUPLE MONTHS, OR SHOULD I HAVE MORE HIDES???

Here is the picture of it. In the picture the calcium dish is not shown, and the toilet paper dish is not shown.

I have a pic in my above post, but it doesn't show up with the image symbol next to the post in the forum like it does on other people's posts. How do you get that to show up???

You are probably posting pics the way it says in tools and toys. You use that for multiple pics. For single pics, there is a different way. When posting a message go down and find select image from photo gallery(you can only use this if your pics are hosted with the ks photo gallery). Scroll down on the thing and select the image you want to add. When you do it this way, the image thing comes up. Your setup looks fine, you may want to add a few more hides, but other than that it looks good.

I appreciate the help. Yea, I was doing just what you were saying with the pics. Thanks for the advice. And thanks for the help with the setup. I will add some more hides in a couple months when my baby patternless grows up and I put her in there.

Maybe you should put another hide on the warm end. Make sure you have a hide on the warm and cool end, so that the leos have a place to hide when they regulate their body temp.

I guess once you move your 3rd leo into the enclosure you'll just have to wait and see. With my geckos they like to curl up with eachother. Its kind of like how cats curl up with eachother when they sleep. And they all stay under one hide. Its cute. :P

Everything looks good, and so do the geckos.

Should be good aslong as you add a few more hides like the others said. Cant see the others but your albino is stunning.
