OTC herp parasite control

CRToon83 Nov 05, 2003 02:10 PM

My softshell hasn't been eating recently, just started floating, and I finally determined he has a parasite. I didnt really have the money for a vet, so I went and talked to pet store...and they hired a new guy recently to take over all reptiles and fish...amazingly he actually knows about them! he sold me this stuff called Nature Zone Worm Guard. It contains pumpkin seed, black walnut, cloves, wormwood, thyme, kieselguhr, papain, black cumin, and these are items I know for a fact that are toxic to parasites. I have to mix it with water and feed it to my turtle thru an eye dropper 2 times a day for 2 weeks but it supposedly helps. he said it did for his. more info @ www.naturezonepet.com

Supposedly, eh? Well, I'm convinced. I think you should try taking it yourself first.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

I am aware that the aforementioned plant components are a repellent to many helminth parasites (in humans), but the true effectiveness can only be determined through fecal analysis.
