Hi, im planning on breeding leos in the future, but i want to start my breeding hobby smaller. I know you have probably hear this question all of the time. Other than most expensive geckoes, what species that i could obtain from an expo, keep in a 10-20 gallon and would breed fairly easily, would be good for an expierenced herper on a limited budget and a slow but steady income? I plan on only getting a pair, and for this pair to be under 50$ at the most! Thanks and i am truly sorry for you getting this question. Thanks again!

Easy to breed, easy to keep, and very prolific ( almost too prolific )

They will run around $15-$25 each for normals. Stripes will run around $30-$40. You will be able to keep 1.1 in a 10 gallon and they will be happy and content. Give them a couple different hide boxes and a humid hide and they will thrive. Just make sure you have somewhere to put the male when they start breeding. You have to seperate them every 2nd or 3rd clutch or else you run the risk of harming the Female. Females will literally run themselves in the ground if they lay too many clutches without having a rest period. Other than that they are just like keeping a Leopard
