Question about meal worms

ninja_tortoise Nov 05, 2003 07:05 PM

1: can dragons eat the beetles they turn into
2: is there actually a difference between meal worms and the BIG meally looking worms? or are they same species?

1. Yes
2: A different species from the same family (Tenebrionidae): Zophoba morio aka Superworm. The beetles of these are much bigger and have a defenseive smell which normally prevents any herp from eating them.
But Superworms are a relatively good food for most herps unless given in excess.
