LOL! Doing well...thanks for asking. The Hydei's you sent now have larvae crawling around in there and some pupae waiting to hatch. That's great! I've decided I'm not a fan of the smaller ones...they are so much faster and hard to catch...if a Hydei gets out, I can get it onto my finger and flick it in the cham enclosure...those little buggers are too fast and jumpy to catch...hehehe!
I was wondering something...did you have a problem with the larvae of the smaller flies crawling out of the holes that you made in the baby food jars? Lots crawled out and the pupae are on top of the lids...so I'm going to have escapee fruit flies that I can't catch...hahaha! They're outside, so no biggie...but I decided that I don't like the little ones, so I may toss them. Hey, getting the Hydei's were worth the shipping.
I took as much of the pupae that I could and scraped it into a little container...lots actually hatched. So, those are corraled...but shew, I'm gonna be up to my eyeballs in them soon, so I think I'll stick to the Hydei's.
Thanks!
Kristen
