so... i hear you can DEFINITLY tell your leo's sex by 6 months of age. well, it was the 6th month a couple of weeks ago, and guess what?! my hopes of my leo being a boy is depleted i've been handling "melvin" for the past few days and have been desperately wishing that his "V" pores and tail bulge would show. but no... no tail bulge, no V pores it's okay tho, i still love my leo coz SHE'S still cool... now i just have to rename her....

i've been thinking of marlene as my leo's new name... but i'm not sure... what do you think i should name her? my brother suggested "MELVINA" but no.. lol any ideas?

PS: i took a new pic of my leo next to her "car"... it's pretty sav.. it's a black peuget with blue tinted windows... lol - i'll post it once i get it developed

I guess that would take some adjusting. How about Madeline? (Or are we going for something that doesn't sound like Melvin?)

I still need to check Tommy, but I haven't handled him. I'll do it this weekend.

Naw, I'm just kidding. I've thought about that, but you know.. he's changed so much in the way he looks, I'd probably give she-Tommy a more snazzy name.

I'm sure you'll find a new name for Melvin once you get a little more used to him being a her.

LOLOLOL! That happened to me too! My "Ron" was bought as a hatchling so I just assumed it was a mlae and named it "Ron Weasley", like form Harry Potter, lol. WELL, four months roll by and I check little Ron, only to be shocked at my new "female" Leo. I didn't change her name though, lol. I still call her a "him" all the time, it's pretty funny. Poor RON. Lol.
