This morning I had Velcro, my beardie on the bed petting him. My mini schnauzer jumped up and Velcro's beard expanded and turned black and he opened his mouth up really wide. It's not like he hasn't seen this dog before. He sees it every day. Is there anyway to get him used to her so he won't do this again? Do beardies have the comprehension to remember that she is a good dog and won't hurt her?

looks like the dog jumping up on the bed spooked him. my cats do that sometimes when the jump up on the stand beside the tank and my beardie is on the same side. he puffs up right away but the beard goes back just as quick as soon as he realizes its just the cat
