Question on breeding Albinos>>>

TebbyGecko Nov 06, 2003 09:03 AM

Hey!

I was wondering.. If I have a Hypo Tang with a nice carrot tail coming in(7 months) and an Albino(2-3 months old) who is starting to show some nice, bright orange on his tail and I breed them together.. Would a baby Albino possibly carrying any of that "carrot tail" gene? I would love to produce some CT Albinos of my own, but just wondering if this would work out? Thanks guys, I'm new to breeding!

If you cross your carrot tail x your albino you will eventually get carrot tailed albinos through line breeding. You probably won't see any great results in the first generation (they will all be hets btw), but if you keep at it you should eventually produce some albino carrot tails all by yourself.

Good luck with your project.
