Hey, I figured out why i didnt get good pictures with my sony camera, i wasnt using the macro mode (I keep forgeting about that). But here are some quick pics I took with my xmas present while it was in use (my mother wanted to to use it to take pics of stuf to put on ebay, so while it was out, why not snap a few shots of my frogs? )

Heres Draco (a little out of focus)

Another of Draco

Heres Orion (probibly my best shot)

Another Orion

And heres my two new blue sip froglets. The flash whiped out there color a little bit, so they look like lime green sips. But they are blue sips.

On the first 4 photos. The color is correct, thats just the way my vivrium is lighted. I adjusted it just a bit, resized, and cropped the pictures. Photoshop elements has A LOT of features

So far so good, here are some things to try:

1. Force the camera to ISO 100, it will make a huge difference in the noise.
2. Use the flash on low if you are not already.

I took the pictures in ISO 200. I assume by noise you are talking about the videos. Ill try that next time. I did try the flash on a low setting but it either reflected off the glass or made it too bright. Ill practice with it later. Just some quick shots i snapped off before the camera had to go back in the box

No the noise I was talking about is the pictures. The grainy stuff is noise. If you put the lens right on the glass the flash would work ok, but not if they are really close.
