can any one tell me why my iguana just stopped sheading and two days later he starts to shed again and how often do they shed?

Prolly just going through a growth spurt. How old is he/she? Was the shedding in the same spot?

not quite sure how old she is but he is about 15 1/2 inches long fron nose to tip of tail she she shedded completely and 1 day later started to shed again

I wouldn't worry too much. The only times shedding should be an issue is when he is NOT shedding, or when his shed doesn't come off.
