Yet another breeding question...

LizardLuva Nov 06, 2003 03:09 PM

I have looked online for this and couldnt find the right answers to a few of my questions, dealing with breeding albinos. First, an Albino Carrottail, is this possible? If yes, if you breed a normal carrottail X Albino what will you get? Can carrotail be carried but not shown?like Het. Carrottail?
Thanks everyone!

carrot tail is a selectivly bred trait albinism is a ressecive trait. if you breed a carrot tail to an albino you will have a het albino that carries carrot tail genes. u can breed this back to the albino to create another albino that may carry the carrot. take that albino with the carrot and breed it back to a carrot tail and so on until both traits are present in the animal.
