Leo Setup question

insideoutsider13 Nov 06, 2003 05:30 PM

Melle and a few other people who have posted their pictures of their leopard gecko tanks have the screen suction cup landings that are raised above the ground. I was just wondering what those serve? will the leos actually climb on them or is it for decoration for plants?

It’s called a reptile hammock, or something like that; they sell them at the pet store. My leos come out at night and crawl around on them. I think it makes them feel a bit more secure when on ground level, kind of like they are hiding under a bush. I think leos get a bit intimidated my wide open, uncovered spaces. Hope this helps,

Yep, my leos like to climb on it too. they'll climb up and just hang out there. I put the plants on it for decoration, and they like to hide behind them when on the hammock. It's just another place for them to go that they like.
