It is normal for Whites and some other tree frogs to turn purple/brown sometimes. Although some associate the change with "mood", it also is known to change at different times of day, temp changes, etc. Some Whites actually stay purple more than green and live as long a life as their green counterparts. As long as it continues to eat and behave normally, all is well. I've provided a link that you should check out, and next time you have any questions, check there first. If you cant find it there, come on back and ask away. We'll be glad to help.

There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours much more.

One of my whites is brown all of the time, the other turns brown when he is cold. What is the temperature and humidity of your frog’s enclosure?

firstly get a larger tank 15 allon is to small for an adult WTF. if you include substrate, hiding materials, water area etc, this will reduce the space to about 12 gallons, maybe less. the minimum size enclosure for one WTF is 20 gallons.

secondly, frogs change color depending on many factors like lighting, temps, humidity, mood, caqmaflague etc. they can also change colors if they are sick. go to my site and read the husbandry of WTF's, so you can make sure you are doing it properly.
